A fundraiser that fits how boosters work

Booster clubs are the engine behind athletics, band, theater and academic teams: they buy equipment, pay for travel, cover end-of-season banquets and step in whenever a program's budget falls short. They also run the concession stand, the spirit wear sale and the golf outing, often with the same dozen volunteers. Another fundraiser that needs storage, delivery and a cash count adds weight to a load that is already heavy, and it competes for the same weekends as the games.

Stevie G's gives boosters a fundraiser that runs in the background. The club president or treasurer starts it free in the app, sets a goal and a last day, and shares the invite code with members and volunteers. Everyone who joins gets a personal link to send to alumni, local businesses, coworkers and extended family. Supporters pay online, every bag ships to their door, and the club receives its share through Stripe after the fundraiser ends, ready for the next purchase.

Why booster clubs choose Stevie G's

Less to run, more to give

One fundraiser per program

Your club can run more than one fundraiser, each with its own goal and invite code, for the teams and programs you support.

No concession-stand math

Supporters pay at checkout, so there is no cash to count and no change box to manage.

Nothing to store or deliver

No pallets in the equipment room. Every bag ships straight to the person who ordered it.

Alumni and sponsors can join in

Former members and local businesses can order from anywhere with one link.

Numbers for your meeting

The app shows sales and progress toward the goal as they happen, ready for the treasurer's report.

A share from the first bag

Your club receives 40% from the very first bag, then 45% from bag 300, 50% from bag 600 and 55% on bags 1,000 and up.

How it works

How our online popcorn fundraiser works

  1. Start or Join a Fundraiser

Start your own fundraiser. Anyone can. Did your Team Leader send you an invite code? Enter it and you're on the team - no forms to fill out.

  2. Share Your Link

You get your own link to text or email to friends and family. Every sale from your link counts for your team.

  3. Watch It Add Up

See your sales and how close your team is to its goal - on your own dashboard. Stevie G's pays your group a commission on every bag sold - 40% from the very first bag.

Tips

How to run a successful booster club popcorn fundraiser

  1. Fund something visible. A new scoreboard, travel to a state tournament or uniforms for a whole program show supporters exactly what they helped buy.

  2. Split it by program. If you back several teams, give each its own fundraiser and goal. A specific target beats a general fund every time.

  3. Bring in local businesses. Owners who already sponsor a banner or a program ad are often glad to order a few bags for the office.

  4. Use your alumni list. Graduates who played or performed in the program are some of its most loyal supporters, and they live everywhere.

  5. Announce it at games and events. A mention over the public address, a sign at the gate with the link and a post on the club's pages all point people to the same place.

  6. Report to your members. Close with the total raised and what it paid for, at your next meeting and in the newsletter. Members who see the result are quicker to help with the next one.

  7. Put next season's start on the club calendar. The day this fundraiser ends, add next year's dates to the booster calendar and the officers' notes, so they survive a change of officers.

Every year

Make it a yearly booster tradition

Booster clubs run on a steady calendar of seasons, banquets and events, and the popcorn fundraiser deserves its own fixed place in it. Start it at the beginning of your main season, when interest is highest, and repeat it at that same time every year. Once a year is the right rhythm: supporters treat it as an annual event and plan for it, while asks that come every few months wear out alumni and sponsors. Each year is easier, because supporters already know how ordering works.

Booster club questions

Can one booster club run fundraisers for several teams?

Yes. One organization can run more than one fundraiser, each with its own goal and invite code.

Who should start the fundraiser?

Usually the club president or treasurer. Whoever starts it leads it in the app and sets up the payout through Stripe.

Do volunteers have to deliver anything?

No. Every order ships straight to the buyer, and the buyer pays shipping at checkout.

How does the club receive its share?

Your share is paid out through Stripe after the fundraiser ends. The club receives 40% from the very first bag, and more as it sells more.

How often should we run a popcorn fundraiser?

Once a year, at the same time each year. The start of your main season, when interest is highest, works well for most clubs.
